Jamshedpur: JD (U) members staged a demonstration before the office of the general manager of Jharkhand State Electricity Board at Bistupur on Saturday to demand improvement in power supply in the various localities of the city.
Leading the agitation, the Mahanagar committee president Pawan Kumar Pandey handed over a memorandum to the GM and demanded regular power supply to the various localities where electricity was supplied by the state electricity department.
He said many areas were witnessing low voltage and power cuts for 10 to 12 hours. Due to power cuts, students and patients are suffering a lot, he said.
