JCAPCPL Marks World Environment Day 2026 with “Walk for Nature”

Jamshedpur: JCAPCPL celebrated World Environment Day 2026 through its “Walk for Nature” initiative. The event brought together employees, their families, and senior leadership to promote environmental awareness and inspire collective action towards a greener future.

Surojit Ray, Assistant Manager – EHS, kicked off the programme with an inaugural address. He emphasized the importance of individual and organizational responsibility in protecting the environment. Following his speech, Atul Bhalerao, DM – EHS & Operations, led an energetic warm-up session that set the tone for the day’s activities.

Addressing the gathering, Kapil Modi, Managing Director of JCAPCPL, highlighted how collective efforts solve environmental challenges and underscored the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable practices.

Employees and their family members participated enthusiastically in the event. Senior leaders, including Executive Director Taniguchi San and Union President Ravi Prasad, alongside members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Heads of Departments (HODs), the CHRO, and the CFO, actively joined the initiative, demonstrating JCAPCPL’s shared commitment to environmental responsibility.

Participants walked around Jubilee Park to symbolize the organization’s resolve to contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. Through initiatives like the Walk for Nature, JCAPCPL continues to foster a culture of sustainability and encourage meaningful action for the well-being of future generations.
