Jamshedpur: Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Ranjan directed engineers and executing agencies to ensure the timely completion of district-level development projects, warning that negligence or delays will not be tolerated.
Presiding over a comprehensive review meeting at the Collectorate Auditorium, the DC assessed projects funded under DMFT, NITI Aayog, and MP/MLA local area development funds. These include crucial infrastructure like roads, bridges, drinking water schemes, school classrooms, and model Anganwadi centres.
The DC ordered technical reports for delayed projects and instructed officials to take legal action against negligent contractors. To prevent further bottlenecking, he directed departments to resolve land issues in coordination with Circle Offices and expedite pending tender processes.
