Jamshedpur, Sept 7: Fun, frolic and excitement prevailed at Xavier Public School in Kitadih as the primary segment students dressed as child Shri Krishna, Radha, Rukmini and Balram added to the aura of gaiety with their dresses and presentations. The senior students too, presented several cultural programmes to add colour to the Janmashtami celebrations.
Chairperson of the RJ Welfare Society, Poonam Jha, talked to the students and gave important snippets on the childhood form of Lord Krishna and the positive teachings from his life. Among these cultural presentations was the exciting, traditional event, Matki Phore organized separately for the girls and the boys.
Sharing the excitement of it all were School Secretary, Raman Jha, along with Ankita Tiwari, Suman Kumari, Himanshu Bharadwaj, Akanksha, Rajni, Kajal, Gudiya, Sushmita, Asha, Simran, Alka, Sheetal, Priya, Preetika, Rashmi, Kamal Kant, PN Sharma, and BN Bera, among others.
