Jamshedpur, Nov 18: Yet another youngster from the city is on his way to newer musical heights. Meet Sukhmandeep Singh alias Sukhisaab, a young talent who has come up with his single entitled ‘Nostalgia’ which has been sung by him and co-singer Pawan Singhal ‘Droog’. The video song has been shot at Domohani, Link Road, Armory Ground and Bistupur by cinematographer Kunal Singh.
“I have always dreamt of coming up with a single and we young boys teamed up to create ‘Nostalgia.’ Our plan is to promote Hip Hop culture in the city and encourage youth to appreciate this genre as an art form and also to boost our local talents from Jamshedpur.”
The song, entitled ‘Nostalgia’, is now available on several streaming platforms. “The popularity of this song can be gauged from the number of hits it has being receiving on YouTube. I never expected so many people to listen to it. The response has been enthusing, considering this is my first ever release,” said Singh.
The young singing talent said: “I want to be known as a singer. If I get a chance to sing for films, I will grab the offer. My parents, my greatest support, want me to take up music seriously. I would not have gone anywhere without their constant encouragement and advice.”
When queried about his passion for singing, he said that music was his first love and would remain attached to it. “I am really overwhelmed with the kind of response I received with the release of my first song. I think the budding singers should make it a habit to practice daily and show keenness to learn every bit of it.”
Talking about talents in Jharkhand Sukhisaab observed that there was no dearth of talents. The only need was to promote them and give them a platform to showcase their talent.
“As a team code 05 we focus on the creativity part more and that’s what makes us more confident to take risks making newer and different projects. The energy and determination towards our work and our will to learn more from the mistakes of our earlier projects, inspire us a lot in different ways. That’s what gives us a spirit of never giving up too,” Sukhisaab signed off.
