Jamshedpur, Dec 31: Vidhi Rawal bagged gold medals in the 100 and 200 meters races at the recent state level athletics championship. Former BJP district president and TSDPL Union deputy president Dinesh Kumar on Thursday honoured Vidhi at his residence by presenting her a shawl and memento and offering her sweets. Vidhi is the daughter of TSDPL employee. Dinesh Kumar said on the occasion, “Vidhi Rawal is the daughter of my coworker and I take the same pride in her. She is the pride of Jamshedpur doing her city proud by winning gold and silver medals in various competitions organized around the country. Vidhi, incidentally, is going to participate in the Sub Junior National Athletic Championship to be held in Guwahati in February, 2021. Jamshedpur along with the entire nation pins high hopes on this ‘Flying Angel.’ I assure her full support in her endeavor.”
Others present on the occasion included TSDPL employee Srinu Rao and contract worker Shrinivas Rao.
