Jamshedpur, Aug 11: The Tata Steel Zoological Park will remain open on account of World Elephant Day on 12th August. The Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change, Government of India has requested Forest Departments & Zoos of various states of India to observe “World Elephant Day” at large scale to spread the message of their protection and conservation.
The Tata Steel Zoological Park shall also be organising an event observing “World Elephant Day” on 12th August 2024. Therefore, the zoo will be open for all visitors on Monday which is actually a closed day otherwise.
