Jamshedpur’s Shreetama Sahu scores 99.67 percentile in CAT 2024, 30 students score 90 percentile and above

Jamshedpur, Dec 20: The results of the CAT 2024 examination, announced late on December 19, brought immense pride to TIME Institute Jamshedpur, as its students excelled once again. With over 3.29 lakh candidates appearing for the exam nationwide, the TIME students proved their mettle, achieving stellar percentiles that continue to uphold the institute’s legacy of academic excellence.

Among the top performers, Shreetama Sahu led the way with an impressive 99.67 percentile, followed by Jagpreet Singh (99.42%), Yuva Raaj (99.41%), and Prangan Gupta (99.04%). Other noteworthy scores included:

Hardik Agarwal scored 98.91%, followed by Rahul Rai and Anirudh Kulkarni with 98.90% each. Nanduri Venkat Lohitya secured 98.87%, while Mayank Khandelwal achieved 98.77%, and Debasish Mandal scored 98.72%. Other notable performers included Siddharth Apurv with 98.63%, Mayank Dhandania with 98.31%, and Yugdeep with 98.18%.

Sumit Kumar Ghosh scored 97.68%, Shivam Agarwal 97.58%, Devanshi Mitra 97.54%, and Gaurav Kumar 97.51%. Aditya Anmol achieved 97.39%, Daniel Naimi 97.17%, and Jyotsna Priyadarshi secured 96.70%. Shashank Mishra scored 96.00%, Manish Kumar 95.47%, and Himanshu Lohani 95.21%.

Other commendable performances came from Shreyansh Jain with 94.96%, Aman Apurv with 92.52%, Abhishek Jha with 92.43%, Vaibhav Sharma with 92.41%, Aditi Singh with 92.25%, and Aditi Kabra with 91.99%. Ronit Kumar Singh scored 91.92%, Sangam Jain 91.89%, Rick Sen 91.79%, and Sushant Kumar Thakur rounded out the list with 90.82%. All scores in percentile.

More than 30 TIME students achieved scores exceeding the 90th percentile, further cementing the institute’s reputation for producing top-notch results.

TIME Institute’s Director, Shubham Khanna, expressed delight at the outcome, emphasizing that while these results are commendable, the next stage of the selection process—Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT)—is crucial. To prepare for this rigorous phase, TIME will commence tailored preparation sessions for students starting December 23, equipping them with effective strategies to excel in the challenges ahead.

This year’s CAT saw an increase in the number of questions, from 66 to 68, adding complexity to the test. The exam is a gateway to more than 500 MBA colleges in India, including 21 IIMs and other prestigious institutions such as FMS, SPJIMR, and TISS.
