Jamshedpur’s Sameeksha Taunk wins ‘VG Mrs India Global Icon Season 7’

Jamshedpur, March 29: Steel City’s Garba artiste, Sameeksha Taunk emerged victorious in the prestigious “VG Mrs India Global Icon Season 7,” securing the titles of “VG Mrs India Global Icon Gujarat Queen” and “VG Mrs India Global Icon West Zone Queen.” The pageant, held in Delhi from March 17–20, saw participation from 47 women representing different states across India.

Sameeksha, wife of Pancham Taunk, Manufacturing Head at Tata Steel Growth Shop, impressed judges with her stellar performances in every round. Originally from Gujarat, the 44-year-old has transformed her passion into her profession and a purpose-driven journey. Residing in Ashiana Aditya, she is also affectionately known as the “Ashiana Supermom.”

Reflecting on her win, Sameeksha stated that the title had given her a new identity, marking a significant milestone in her life. She continued to blend cultural roots with modern ambitions, living by the mantra, “Dream, Dare, Be the Queen.” She expressed her gratitude to Binita Srivastava, founder of “VG Miss and Mrs India,” for her guidance and support throughout the competition.
