Clash at Jamshedpur Hanuman temple leaves several injured

Jamshedpur: A minor dispute turned violent at a Hanuman temple under the Golmuri police station area on Saturday. The conflict erupted between the license-holder group and the temple custodians over the removal of a picture installed within the temple premises.

What began as a heated argument soon escalated into a physical clash, leaving several people from both sides injured and triggering chaos inside the temple complex. Local residents present at the spot intervened and managed to bring the situation under control.

Women from the aggrieved side later approached the Golmuri police station and lodged a written complaint, alleging that they were pushed and assaulted during the incident. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation, with members of both groups being questioned. Security has been tightened in the area in view of prevailing tensions.
