Jamshedpur, Jan 22: In a vibrant display of joy and solidarity, shopkeepers from Sakchi Bazaar Chakki Line and Refugee Market adorned the area with 11,000 lamps on Monday evening to mark the auspicious occasion of the construction and consecration of the Ayodhya Ram temple. The festivities included a signature campaign initiated by the guests in support of the construction of a temple at the birthplace of Shri Krishna.

Esteemed guests, including senior BJP leader Abhay Singh, District Marwari Conference President Mukesh Mittal, and social workers Shankar Lal Aggarwal and Shambhu Khanna, graced the occasion. The guests were honored with traditional body clothes in recognition of their participation.

A day before the event, the shopkeepers had come together to decorate the entire Chakki Line with saffron flags, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. A lively procession, featuring drums and celebratory music, paraded through the market. Bhog distribution commenced at noon, followed by the lighting of lamps in front of each shop in the evening.

As a gesture of goodwill, 101 kg of laddus were distributed among the public as Prasad. The success of the event was attributed to the collaborative efforts of dedicated shopkeepers, including Manish Khanna, Vivek Aggarwal, Mahesh Chaudhary, Suresh Duva, Pramod Khanna, Ankur Chaudhary, Shambhu Aggarwal, Kamal Aggarwal, Ashish Khanna, and others who actively contributed to the festivities.
