Jamshedpur: Rakshit Jha of Govindpur, Dayal City, has once again proved his strength and dedication by clinching the gold medal in his weight category at the Jharkhand State Powerlifting Championship held in Dhanbad on Friday.
Jha also secured a silver medal in the ‘Best Competitor’ category of the “Koyalanchal Classic” competition. Previously, he has won gold in the prestigious Mr. Bihar and Jharkhand Power Pro contests.
Expressing his excitement, Jha said, “This victory is a result of rigorous training and determination. I am grateful for the support of my coaches and well-wishers.”
His achievement has been celebrated by the local community, with many seeing him as an inspiration for aspiring athletes. Residents of Govindpur congratulated him, hoping his success would encourage more young people to pursue sports and fitness.
