Jamshedpur: Nalin Goel & Associates, a Jamshedpur-based architectural and design firm, has been honored with the prestigious ABID IDEA Award 2025 in the Educational Spaces Category.
The award was presented at a glittering ceremony held at ITC Sonar, Kolkata, on Thursday.
The firm received the accolade for its outstanding architectural design of the Kusum Kamani Auditorium at the Narbheram Hansraj English School, a landmark project in Jamshedpur that blends functionality with modern aesthetics to create a world-class educational facility.

The award was jointly presented to Nalin Goel and Shivani Goel under the segment Public & Institutional Design for Impact.
The recognition came amidst tough competition, with more than 200 entries from leading architectural and design firms across Eastern India.
The auditorium project has been widely appreciated for its thoughtful design, seamless integration of space, and ability to enhance the overall learning and cultural experience of students.
At the ABID IDEA Awards 2nd Edition, an eminent panel of jurors brought their expertise and creative vision to evaluate the entries.

The distinguished jury comprised renowned architects and designers: Ar. Ashwin Lovekar of Lovekar Design Associates, Ar. Hiren Patel of Hiren Patel Architects (HPA), Ar. Shruti Dimri of Lovekar Design Associates, Ar. Sujit Nair of Sujit Nair Design Group, and Ar. Swanzal Kak Kapoor of Saka Studio.
Each juror, with their diverse backgrounds and acclaimed body of work, added a unique perspective to the selection process, ensuring that innovation, functionality, and design excellence were recognized and celebrated at the event.
The ABID IDEA Awards celebrate excellence in architecture and interior design, acknowledging projects that demonstrate innovation, sustainability, and social impact.
