Jamshedpur, June 20: Sidhgora police sent Rahul Singh, Rahul Gupta and Gaurav Gupta, accused of Manpreet Pal Singh murder case, back to judicial custody after completion of their remand period on Monday. The three accused were taken on a remand of 48 hours. Cops questioned them in connection with the murder and the conspiracy behind it.
Rahul Singh reportedly told cops about having been threatened by Manpreet before he was killed. “When Rahul reached Manpreet’s house, the latter allegedly took out a sword to kill him. Rahul informed his friends who came on a scooty and reached Manpreet’s house. Manpreet had reportedly fired at Rahul Gupta, Naveen and Akshay who fired in retaliation,” police sources said.
Police are yet to arrest Puran Choudhary, another named accused in the murder case.
