Jamshedpur, Jan 13 : Jamshedpur girl Farah Naz, a student of Vivekananda International School, was selected as one of the winners of Swadesh Mantra Walk competition organised to celebrate National Youth Day. Farah received the award on Sunday at an event organised at Ramakrisna Mission School, Ranchi.
In the state level Swadesh Mantra Walk over 63,000 students from various districts and blocks of the state had participated.
The Governor of Jharkhand Santosh Gangwar was the chief guest of the event. IIM Director Deepak Kumar Srivastava and Premsons Motor Industries CMD Puneet Poddar were also present as special guests.
Swami Suvirananda, the General Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission joined the ceremony through virtual telecast.
Swami Suvirananda said, “There is a need for the youth to imbibe Swami Ji’s virtues and follow in his footsteps.” He also blessed the winners and congratulated them.
Swami Bhaveshananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Morabadi, gave the welcome speech and expressed his gratitude to all the winners, schools and all the volunteers who cooperated in the great work and making it a success.
