Jamshedpur,Oct 29: Jamshedpuron Thursday reported 61 positive corona cases.��Positive tally has climbed to 15746 while the death toll remained at� 352 with no death reported on Thursday. 44 people recovered of the virus on Thursday taking the total recovery to 14207 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 1187. The district administration spokesperson informed that 61 corona positives have been identified in the East Singhbhum district on Thursday. East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 106873 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 91% while the mortality rate is 2.2 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 297189 samples have been collected out of which 284495 have been tested and 268749 have turned out to be negative.
The Coronavirus tally in the state on Thursday reached to 1,00,964as 395 cases of Covid-19 weredetected across 23 districts ofthe state. During the day 3 deaths were reported including 1 each fromRanchi, Palamu and Ramgarhdistricts after which the overall death count has increased to 883in the state. The mortalityrate among the patients currently stands at 0.87 percent.As per the information provided by the health department thenumber of active cases in thestate was 5,294 while number of cured and discharged casesstood at 94,787 The total number of death caused by Coronavirus in the state stood at 883. OnThursday no case was found inChatra district.On Thursday a maximum number of 78 cases were found inRanchi followed by 61 in East Singhbhum, 50 in Dhanbad, 39 inBokaro and 30 from Deoghar (top five districts).A total of number of 461 people were also cured and dischargedfrom various dedicatedCovid-19 facilities during the day including 109 from Ranchi, 51from Simdega, 44 from East Singhbhum, 39 from Bokaro and 23from Dhanbad.Despite the rampant rise in Coronavirus cases across the state therecovery rate ofCovid-19 patients has improved significantly and has once goneabove 93 percent markto currently stand at 93.88 percent in Jharkhand.So far in the state 32,46,460 samples have been collected out ofwhich 32,33,520 havebeen tested and 31,32,556 have turned out to be negative.
