Jamshedpur, November 27: Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple, known as Birla Temple in Cable Town area of Golmuri, is lying incomplete for the last 30 years.
On the initiative of Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy, efforts for its renovation have started from the last Vijayadashami day. ‘
“Shri Shri Devasthanam Renovation Committee’ is being formed to complete the construction work of the temple. District Administration, JNAC, Tata Steel Limited as well as various sections of the society, institutions, organizations and prominent persons will be represented in this committee,” said Roy.
Rai has today written a letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur Axis and Tata Steel Limited requesting them to provide their representative in the committee.
Rai has said that the construction work of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple will be completed soon and Jamshedpur will get the gift of a grand temple.
