Jamshedpur:‘Cheated’ investors of ‘Maxizone Touch’ meet SP City

Jamshedpur, April 21: A group of investors of Maxizone Touch Private Limited, Ghaziabad, met SP City K Vijay Shankar, on Thursday to complain against alleged fraud committed by the company. They said the company’s headquarters at Ghaziabad was locked and the phone of its Managing Director was also switched off. They said the company had promised a return of Rs 15,000 per month on an investment of Rs 1 lakh. The company gave Rs 15,000 to the investors initially, but stopped after March last. The company officials are nowhere to be found, said the investors. The investors said over 10,000 people of the city had invested money to the tune of Rs 1500 crore in the company and were cheated.

The SP asked the investors to lodge a complaint with the Sakchi police station so that the investigation may begin.
