Jamshedpur Zomato boy absconds with parcel

Jamshedpur, April 2: A delivery boy of Zomato from Bistupur in Jamshedpur has absconded with a bag of goods from Gujarat.

This bag was to go to the house of Krishna Devi, the lady of Kadma. The bag of goods was brought by businessman Raghav Menia from Gujarat who was staying near Gujarati Sanatan Samaj in Bistupur. Nearby, he saw a young man from Zomato. He asked the youth of Zomato if he could deliver the goods to Krishna Devi in Kadma. When the young man agreed, he was also given Rs 150.

In this, 50 rupees were given for carrying goods, 50 rupees for petrol and 50 rupees for tips and 100 rupees were given online to the employee of Zomato.

Krishna Devi told that the money was given online to the Zomato boy. His name is Mahesh. Mahesh absconded after taking the goods and is not taking calls of Krishna Devi. There is also CCTV footage of handing over the bag to the Zomato employee. This CCTV footage has been handed over to the police. Police is investigating the case on the basis of CCTV footage. Krishna Devi says that the person who cheats people in this way should be arrested by the police and sent to jail.
