Jamshedpur Ramnavami: Potka CO showcaused over Haldipokhar incident

Jamshedpur, April 2: Stones were pelted at Ram Navami procession in Haldipokhar. There was ruckus even after the stone pelting, till now the police has not been able to ascertain who did the stone pelting.

Those who pelt stones and create ruckus are being identified. In this case, the SDO has showcaused Potka circle officer Imtiaz Ahmed on the basis of CCTV footage.

Some people have made a video viral in which a policeman is bringing out the CO who fell in the crowd. Efforts are being made to surround them with the help of this video. It is being said that Potka CO was getting agitated on the crowd but this is half the video. It is not clear from the video how the people present in the crowd were behaving with the Potka CO. The district administration will get the whole matter investigated.

After the reply of the CO, the investigation of the matter will start. It may be noted that on March 31, processions were taken out on behalf of Vijay Bajrang Akhara in Haldipokhar, when the procession was pelted with stones. There was a stampede after the stone pelting, in which the flag was broken. After which the situation became tense.
