Jamshedpur, April 2: A house caught fire on Sunday near Baradwari Telephone Exchange Road under Sitaramdera police station area. The house where the fire broke out was closed. The house owner lives in Durgapur. His relatives live nearby. The people around informed the police about the incident. The police reached the spot and the fire brigade was called. By then the relative of the house owner also reached and the lock of the house was opened and the fire was extinguished.

The relative of the landlord says that a tenant lives in a portion of the house. The tenant may have started the fire. Police say that it cannot be said yet who has set the fire. The police is investigating the case whether the fire was caused by a short circuit.
