KPS Kadma hosts an inspiring day of introspection, life lessons, and personal transformation for students
Jamshedpur: The second day of the Let’s Make A Difference (LMAD) Jamshedpur Youth Conference at Kerala Public School (KPS), Kadma, was marked by inspiration, introspection, and personal growth. The day’s sessions encouraged young participants to reflect deeply, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and work towards becoming responsible individuals.
The event was graced by Viral Mazumdar, Chief Director of LMAD, as the Chief Guest. Rajiv Agarwal and Shraddha Agarwal, Coordinators of LMAD, were also present as dignitaries.

Focus on Self-Reflection and Inner Growth
The day began with the distribution of reflection booklets that prompted students to identify their “concentration distractors.” This thoughtful exercise aimed to help participants develop mindfulness and improve their focus.
In the first session, Mazumdar led a soulful prayer followed by an engaging talk on The Power of Silence. He narrated a touching story to highlight the importance of quiet introspection and listening to one’s inner voice. He encouraged students to maintain a “thought diary” to record their reflections and monitor their personal development.
Delivering a message that deeply resonated with everyone, Mazumdar said, “If you change, your family changes; when the family changes, society changes; and when society changes, the nation changes.”
The session concluded with a “Quiet Time – Self-Introspection Activity,” allowing students to spend time in silent reflection on their emotions, thoughts, and actions.
Honest Conversations and Life Lessons
After a short break, students took part in an open Self-Confession Session, where participants from four schools courageously shared personal experiences and challenges. The session highlighted the importance of honesty, self-awareness, and resilience during one’s formative years.
Next came the My Life activity, which encouraged students to identify their good and bad habits. The exercise inspired self-evaluation and a commitment to make positive changes.
Inspiring Stories of Determination
In the afternoon, three speakers — Tanmaye, Rashesh, and Shraddha Agarwal — shared powerful life stories that motivated the young audience.
Shraddha Agarwal spoke about her journey from being a salaried employee to becoming a successful entrepreneur. She emphasized that there are no shortcuts to success and urged students to believe in hard work and perseverance.
Rashesh spoke about ethics, self-discipline, and persistence as the keys to lasting success.
The day ended with heartfelt reflections, leaving students inspired and ready to embrace self-discipline, introspection, and positive transformation in their daily lives.
