Jamshedpur, May 2: A case of kidnapping of a minor girl for marriage was reported in MGM police station area on Monday. One Rocky Sharma was arrested in connection with the allegations, police said.
According to police, Rocky had allegedly abducted the girl on 28th April last. Working in the girl’s neighbourhood for the last three months, the accused befriended her and persuaded her to escape with him. The girl’s family lodged a police complaint against the accused. Police rescued the alleged victim from Jodsa, Galudih, and arrested the accused.
