Jamshedpur, May 2: The residents of Ashiana Brahmanand, a residential society situated in Tamolia, locked the maintenance office of their colony to protest against the ongoing water crisis here on Monday. They will be taking out a protest rally in support of their various demands tomorrow on the campus of the residential society.
The protestors alleged that they were deprived of drinking water for the last 15 days. They said that Ashiana Maintenance Service, instead of improving facilities and services, had increased monthly maintenance charges in an arbitrary manner. They said they would go to any length to get their rightful and that a bigger agitation would be launched.
The residents demanded round the clock water supply, revamp of gymnasium, children’s park, swimming pool, badminton court, garden and repair of lift and road.

I support the rally and being a resident of the society feel deprived of the facilities offered by the Ashiana management. I hope this news attracts the attention of the senior management of Ashiana
I also support this movement taken by Ashiana Residents and I, being a resident here, also have the same complaints regarding the Ashiana Maintenance services…. I want that strict action should be taken to control this mismanagement….
