Jamshedpur, April 26: Marwari Yuva Manch Steel City (MYMSC) branch’s women’s wing, Surabhi, branch concluded its five-day program with a yoga and meditation workshop at Punjab Refugee Middle School, Agrico. The event aimed to promote the importance of daily yoga practice among children for improved immunity and overall well-being.
Branch President Kavita Agarwal emphasized the significance of yoga in strengthening children’s immunity and alleviating common ailments. Shilpi Palsania, Haute Monde Mrs. India Worldwide-2022, highlighted the ancient art of yoga, stressing its role in connecting mind and body and fostering balance and meditation.
Encouraging children to dedicate 20 minutes to yoga each day, the workshop showcased various yoga asanas for physical and mental development. Branch Secretary Pooja Agarwal emphasized the health benefits of regular yoga practice, promoting activity and self-confidence among children.
In recognition of the school’s participation, teachers and officials were honored during the program’s closing ceremony. The school’s Headmistress commended the Surabhi initiative, advocating for continued workshops to enrich children’s learning experiences. The Surabhi team comprised Kavita Agarwal, Pooja Agarwal, Payal Agarwal, health coordinator Anita Agarwal, Usha Chaudhary, and Pinky Agarwal.
