Jamshedpur Women’s University: Intermediate students gherao Principal’s chamber

Jamshedpur, July 19: Intermediate students of Jamshedpur Women’s University gheraoed the office of the Principal on Tuesday to demand completion of their course. The students said the erstwhile Jamshedpur Women’s College had got the status of a university three years ago and despite this their admission in Intermediate course was taken by the college. Now the college has stopped the Intermediate classes saying that the college has now been upgraded into a university. The first year practical exams have also been stopped, said the students.

The students said the Principal should take necessary steps to ensure that their future is not ruined.
