Jamshedpur: Wife, paramour arrested for murder 

Seraikela, August 6:  After 15 days Seraikela police has solved the Sahdev Mahato murder case. In which Sulekha Mahato, wife of the conspirator of the murder case, Sahdev Mahato and her lover Jaysen Kumbhkar have been arrested by Seraikela police and sent to judicial custody.

While the two shooters of the massacre Ashok Laik alias Ashok Nayak Katha Meghnath Nath Kumbhkar are still absconding. Seraikela police is continuously raiding for whose arrest.

Giving information about the matter in a press conference, Seraikela police station in-charge Nitish Kumar said that on the morning of June 21, information was received that a dead body was lying between Jhapragudha and Tentoposi under Seraikela police station.

The deceased was identified as Sahdev Mahato, a resident of Dugni village. During probe the police came to know that Sulekha Mahto, wife of the deceased Sahdev Mahto, had an illicit relationship with Jaysen Kumbhkar, a resident of Birbans.

On which Seraikela police, while conducting research in a traditional way, arrested Jaysen Kumbhkar and during interrogation, he confessed to illegal relationship and conspiracy with his girlfriend to get Sahdev Mahato murdered. After this, on interrogating Jaisen’s girlfriend Sulekha Mahato face-to-face by the police, both of them accepted the conspiracy to get Sahdev Mahato murdered.

It was told by both that they had given Rs 30000 to Ashok Laik alias Ashok Nayak and Meghnath Nath Kumbhkar to get Sahdev Mahato killed.
