Jamshedpur: Wife commits suicide 

Jamshedpur, April 24: Poonam Das (43), who lives near CP Club of Sonari police station area, committed suicide by hanging herself in her room at 8 am on Monday. On getting the information about the incident, Poonam’s husband Omprakash informed the neighbors and the police about the incident. After this, the police reached the spot and after preparing the panchnama of the dead body, sent it to MGM Medical College for postmortem.

It has been told about the incident that Poonam’s husband is suffering from cancer. Due to this reason, she was running under tension for many days. When Omprakash woke up on Monday morning, he went to his wife’s room. On peeping, he saw that she was hanging on the noose. He says that Poonam has hanged herself under stress.
