Jamshedpur, Nov 18: The Jamshedpur Wholesale Clothing Sellers Association, representing textile sellers across Kolhan, celebrated its annual Diwali Milan Samaroh at the South Park Clubhouse in Bistupur. The event featured cultural programs, games like musical chairs for women, swings for children, and lunch for association members and their families.
Association President Anil Modi highlighted the importance of unity and coordination among members to tackle challenges in the textile trade and ensure Jamshedpur’s market competed with leading markets nationwide. He emphasized that the event fostered camaraderie and creativity among members while celebrating the festive spirit.
Special guest Vijay Anand Moonka, President of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, commended the association’s contributions to trade and assured continued support from the SCCI. Former association leaders Naval Kishore Barnwal, Swaroop Golchha, and Kamal Jain also addressed the gathering, reflecting on the association’s role in strengthening the business community.
The event, coordinated by Kamal Kishore Laddha and Mahesh Raiwala, concluded with enthusiastic participation in dance and musical performances late into the night. Several prominent members, including Pradeep Bidasariya, Naveen Barnwal, Vasudev Chhapolia, and others, attended the function.
