Jamcoin Expo 2023 begins at Tulsi Bhawan
Jamshedpur, Jan 6: Jamcoin Expo 2023, exhibition of rare coins, currency and stamps began today at Tulsi Bhawan in Bistupur.
The 28th National Level Coins Exhibition being organised by Coin Collectors Club after three year hiatus exhibited the royalty of ancient India through its coinage.
Coins and currencies displayed at the exhibition became the cynosure of all eyes, particularly school students who visited the exhibition in large numbers.
Students at the expo got the opportunity to see ancient coins of different denominations.
The students were very curious and excited to collect information about ancient coins during their visit.

They learnt about the eras, minting modes and other facets through coins on display.
Close to 50 stalls offer a mixed bag of coins, currency, stamps and other objects that are not just artifacts but historical rarities.
Many rare coins, a few dating back to the old centuries including ancient Indian gold coins of the Gupta age, Euro Coins, commemorative coins, proof coins, coins on Sports, coins on great personalities and those from the times of the Mughal empire are on display.
Club members, school students, ten coin dealers and experts from parts of the country are participating in the three-day exhibition.
Through this exhibition, Coin Collectors Club is paying tribute to former Tata Steel MD Dr JJ Irani who was its chief patron.
Coin collection or numismatics is fascinating and mindboggling, and those interested can pay a visit to the Jamcoin Expo 2023.The exhibition concludes on January 8.
