Jamshedpur: Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya emerges overall champion at ZEST

Jamshedpur, Aug 13: The combined efforts of the Art, Debate and Dramatics, and Adventure clubs at JH Tarapore School brought forth an exhilarating inter-school festival named ‘ZEST-2023’. The event unfolded within the school premises, setting sail on a captivating voyage of creativity, courage, and triumph. With ‘ZEST-2023’, students were provided a remarkable platform to exhibit their multifaceted talents, indomitable spirits, and knowledge.

The distinguished occasion welcomed Jaya Singh Panda, Chief Learning and Development Officer, and Chief Diversity Officer, as the esteemed chief guest. As the festival’s theme of “Outwit/Outplay/Outlast” suggests, ‘ZEST-2023’ featured a plethora of innovative and competitive on-stage and off-stage events that witnessed active participation from the contestants.

The on-stage events included ‘Conquer the Podium’, a debating competition; ‘Ramp – de- Marche’, a fashion show; ‘Questionnaire’, a challenging quiz; ‘Kathputli’, a captivating story-telling using puppets; and ‘NukkadNatak’, an engaging street play performance. Over 24 schools participated, providing a stage for students to showcase their talents, as well as to learn and cultivate a diverse array of skills.

Beyond the spotlight, the off-stage events included ‘Brushes over Blushes’, ‘Coco Artistry’, ‘Rukawat ke liye Khed Hai’, ‘Palette Opulence’, ‘Manga Madness’, and ‘Canopy Encampment’. The students embraced these events with remarkable enthusiasm and zeal.

The inter-school fest, ‘ZEST-2023’, culminated with a prize distribution ceremony. The coveted title of overall champion was secured by Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya school, a testament to their exceptional skills and performance.
