Jamshedpur, April 12: Unseeded Md Adil of West Bengal enters the finals of the Boys Singles Under 18 category at the ongoing Beldih Club All India National Ranking Junior Tennis Championship Series 2023, being held at the sand clay courts of the Beldih Club.
On Wednesday, Bengal’s Md Adil proved to be too good for the 2nd seeded Chiradeep Mazumdar in the semi finals held today. Adil drubbed state-mate and 2nd seed by a dominating 6-1,6-2. Adil will face the top seed, Shounak Chatterjee in the finals.
In the Girls Singles Under 18 age group, top seeded Prashansa Shrivastava made it to the finals with a straight set victory over Kinza Shaikh as the former won by 6-3,6-2. Shrivastava will face 4th seeded Aleena Farid in the finals.
