Jamshedpur: A late-night accident on Kadma Link Road left two young men injured after their motorcycle was hit by a speeding Swift Desire car. The driver fled the scene after the collision.
The victims were identified as Pratik Chaudhary, a resident of Adityapur-1 Shrinidhi Apartments, and Ayush Yadav of Hari Om Nagar. Both were returning home when the accident occurred at a turn.
Pratik suffered a severe head injury and doctors confirmed a brain fracture. He is currently on ventilator support at Tata Main Hospital (TMH), and his condition remains critical. Ayush sustained minor injuries on his leg, waist and face and was discharged after first aid.
Eyewitnesses, including Shivam Pathak and his companions, rushed the injured to hospital immediately. Police have traced the vehicle number and launched a search for the absconding driver.
