Jamshedpur, May 12: Sidhgora police here on Thursday arrested two persons for allegedly looting cash, mobile phone and other documents from a 47 year-old woman, Nirmal Kaur, in Bagunnagar.
Those arrested were identified as Shyam Poddar and Sonu Lohra. Cops recovered a motorcycle used in the crime apart from the mobile phone, cash worth Rs 5280 and other documents looted from Nirmal Kaur, police said.
According to Ranjit Kumar, officer-in-charge of Sidhgora police station, the accused persons had left their bike at the crime scene when the victim opposed their move. This helped the police nab the culprits who have a criminal history, Kumar said.
