Jamshedpur: Two arrested for knife attack on young man

Jamshedpur, April 24: In a distressing incident on the afternoon of April 19, two assailants brutally assaulted Karan Bhuiyan with a knife near the bus stand located under the jurisdiction of the Sitaramdera police station. Prompt action by law enforcement led to the apprehension of both perpetrators shortly after the attack.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Sahil Bhuiyan, also known as Sandeep Bhuiyan, and Sukhram Munda, alias Chhota Munda, residents near Bhuiyandih Burning Ghat. Notably, both suspects have a history of criminal activities.

According to reports, the victim, Karan, encountered the accused near the bus stand, where they allegedly demanded money from him. When Karan resisted, Sandeep brandished a knife and viciously stabbed him multiple times.

After the assault, Karan managed to return home despite his injuries, from where concerned family members rushed him to MGM Hospital for urgent medical attention.

The police swiftly launched an investigation into the incident, resulting in the arrest of the suspects and the initiation of appropriate legal proceedings against them.
