Jamshedpur, Dec 16: Jamshedpur’s first and Jharkhand’s second TEDx event will be organized on Saturday, December 17 at Center for Excellence, Jamshedpur
TED is a platform where ideas from around the globe are shared and spread in all directions. It is a platform where those who give something to the world out of the league are felicitated.
TEDx is an independent event in which “X” means the multiplication of TED. Post 6 months of hard work, Jamshedpur has been granted license by TED in the name of TEDxBistupur. This license permits only 100 attendees to participate in this program.
TEDxBistupur aims to create a new identity for the city as well as the community of innovators and makers who will head our society in the right direction. Together we will seek the most inspiring and innovative solutions that push boundaries to create a world we all want to live in.
With this thought in mind, 12 speakers from across the country and the world will come and speak on the theme, “What next??” In this daylong event, each speaker will be able to share his/her views in 15 minutes only. It will be a matter of pride for Jamshedpur where 12 speakers will share their views and experiences on a single platform. The program will commence at 9:00 am with the registration and formal start of the program will be at 9:30 am. We all want to be there. The program concludes at 6 PM. Rajeev Ranjan Mishra, former DG of Namami Gange Project, Biren Bhuta, former Chief C.S.R. Tata Steel, Dr. Ajoy Kumar, Ex-I.P.S. Officers, as speakers will be present. The prime attraction of the program will be Sumit Kutani’s performance and his melodious voice, which will give the program a musical touch too.
The program will be mastered by two talented girls of the city, Qurratul Ain and Mallika.
The curator of this program is Gaurav Anand and with him the entire team of 25 enthusiastic youths of the city are working day and night to make TedxBistupur’s maiden event an inspirational one.
