Jamshedpur, Feb 3: Thieves stole away jewelleries, clothes and valuables worth Rs 11 lakh by breaking the lock of Tube Baridih L Six Quarter No. 108 of Sidgora police station area while family members were preparing for the wedding in the house.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the family members complained to the Sidgoda police station on Thursday morning. On information, the police reached the investigation and after interrogation, registered a case against unknown thieves and started investigation.

Dharmendra Kumar told about the incident that he is going to get married. Tilak is to be held on 6 February and marriage on 10 February. Meanwhile, all the wedding jewelery and clothes were bought. All the items were kept in the quarter itself.

Dharmendra Kumar told that he got a call from his village that his father passed away on January 9 and he went on January 10 morning to Patna.
After performing the last rites, he returned to Baridih residence on January 29. After that he went to his maternal uncle’s house in Telco’s Manifeet. They were staying there for five days. The theft took place between January 29 and February 2.

Dharmendra told that he had arrived on Thursday to clean the quarter with his maternal uncle. Here he saw that the lock of the quarter was broken and all the belongings of the house were scattered. After this he went straight to Sidgoda police station and made a written complaint about the incident.

According to Dharmendra, the thieves had gold chains, gold earrings, two pairs of anklets, nathiya, gold rings, a pair of bracelets, necklaces and many silver jewelry.
