Husband crushes wife with stone near Jamshedpur

Seraikela, Feb 3: In a shocking incident a mentally ill alcoholic husband Sudhir Mahto brutally murdered his wife Pushpa Mahato with a stone in Gohira village of Tentoposi under Seraikela police station. Mahto’s wife’s concern was also such that after killing he remained sitting near the corpse.
When a passerby saw the incident, he reached Gohira village and informed Sudhir’s father. After which the incident was reported to the police through the local head. The Seraikela police, who reached the spot, took the dead body in their possession and sent it to Seraikela for post-mortem. Along with this, Sudhir, who was present at the spot, was also arrested and sent to jail. 

It was said by the elder brother of Sudhir that both the husband and wife had a lot of love even after 13 years of marriage. After getting married in 2009, the two have a 12-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. Sudhir’s work was snatched away from the situation arising out of Corona. After which he was living at home without work.
During this, going through mental stress, he started drinking a lot of alcohol. Being mentally disturbed for the last 15 days, he started fighting often with his wife. In this sequence, on Wednesday afternoon, Sudhir went to take a bath in the river with his wife Pushpa. There was a dispute between both the husband and wife regarding some matter. And the eccentric husband Sudhir killed his wife Pushpa by crushing him with a stone lying on the bank of the river.
