Jamshedpur: Teenager dies in fall from waterfall while making video

Jamshedpur, September 4: A 15-year-old boy, Shubham Mahato, died after slipping and falling from a waterfall in Kadiyamkocha in Kendua Panchayat of the Dumaria police station area in East Singhbhum district. Shubham, a resident of Khuntadih in Sonari, Jamshedpur, had gone to the waterfall with friends.

While attempting to record a video, Shubham began climbing the waterfall but lost his footing and fell, sustaining fatal injuries. He died at the spot. The incident occurred on Monday evening, and the police were informed by the villagers. His body was later sent to MGM Hospital for post-mortem.

Dumaria police station in-charge Sugna Munda, along with DSP Sandeep Bhagat and Kowali police station in-charge Dhananjay Paswan, visited the site following the incident.
