46th annual conference of Tata Motors Medical Society begins

Jamshedpur, June 25: Tata Motors Hospital will be developed as Brand of Excellence for which the company has upgraded several departments and work is on to add more facilities, said Tata Motors Jamshedpur Plant head Vishal Badshah.

Addressing the inaugural session of the 46th annual conference of Tata Motors Medical Society (TMMS), the academic wing of the Tata Motors Hospital at Telco Club on Saturday, Badshah said, “The team at Tata Motors Hospital always strive for excellence and the same was evident during the COVID-19 pandemic where health workers specially nurses worked 24/7 to provide best possible facilities and also adopted digital way of working to help one and all.”

Talking about the conference, Badshah stated that the knowledge sharing will pave way for better patient care and upgrading facilities at the hospital.

The two-day conference will conclude on Sunday, June 26.       

Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Head of Medical Services, Tata Motors, Jamshedpur said that the conference is back after three year hiatus. The annual medical conference provides a platform to share knowledge among different faculties of medical science.

The theme of the conference is “New Milestones in Patient Care”.

Dr Kumar said, “We are striving to make Tata Motors hospital a world class with quantum jump in facilities including the recently added molecular lab and renovated OPD.”

“Tata Motors Hospital played a crucial role in managing the COVID-19 pandemic and helped the district administration round the clock, ensuring bare minimum casualties compared to other parts of the region. Our society conducted many Covid-related webinars and training for the healthcare staff,” he added.

He further said that Tata Motors Medical Society aims to provide high-quality ongoing Medical education and training through continuous academic exercisesfor providing quality medical care to the patients and also keeping our Doctors up-to-date on the developments taking place in the field of medicine.
