Jamshedpur: Tanker driver ‘beaten up’ at fuel station

Jamshedpur, March 6:  A fuel tanker driver, identified as Jitendra Kumar, accused the proprietor of Bhado Fuel Station situated on the National Highway 33 under Chowka PS, of beating him after removing his clothes on Saturday last. He was admitted to MGM Hospital. He alleged that the accused, Narayan, assaulted him after accusing him of giving 389 litre less petrol through his tanker. The accused also forcibly withdrew Rs 21,000 from the bank account of the victim by snatching his ATM card, police said. Later, Narayan and his staff beat up Jitendra after removing his clothes, police said.
