Jamshedpur: Car with fake number plate seized at GST office

Jamshedpur, March 6: Sakchi police confiscated a car with forged registration number plate from the GST Intelligence Office at Dhalbhum Road, Sakchi, on Monday. The car owner Vijay Kumar Singh informed police about the car being used with a fake number plate by one Gulshan Singh of Khalsa Logistics. He said he had given the car to Gulshan Singh for using it as a taxi. “Gulshan had promised to pay rent and EMI of the car, but he failed to keep it. He has stopped receiving my phone for the last three months. I had complained to Sakchi police and SSP of Jamshedpur about it. On Monday I came to know that my car is parked outside the GST office with a different number plate,” said the complainant.
