Jamshedpur, Dec 4: The Jamshedpur Super League returns on Friday with a thrilling line-up of 26 fixtures across the Under-13 and Under-15 categories at the Tinplate Sports Complex.
U-13 matches begin at 2.30 PM, followed by U-15 games from 3.30 PM onward.
This season marks the league’s biggest expansion yet — growing from 70 to 190 teams and featuring more than 1,100 grassroots footballers alongside 888 community participants.
Rebranded from the AIFF Blue Cubs League model, the JSL remains India’s largest grassroots football platform, promoting skill development through small-sided, age-appropriate formats.
The opening match days drew enthusiastic participation from players, coaches, and parents, reflecting Jamshedpur’s growing football culture.
With children, girls, mothers, fathers, veterans, and transgender athletes all taking part, the JSL has become a vibrant community festival of the sport.
The weekend action continues Sunday at the JRD Tata Sports Complex Artificial Turf and the Armoury Ground with matches across all remaining age groups.
