Jamshedpur students injured in group clash

Jamshedpur, March 14: Two groups of students of Karim City College clashed violently in Road No 2 of Azadnagar police station area in Mango on Monday. The incident took place near Kohinoor Tower. Two students were seriously injured in the incident. They were taken to MGM Hospital where their condition was reportedly stable, sources said.

Sources said the injured students Afridi Khan and Ayan Khan, both residents of Road No 21 in Garib Nawaz Colony, were returning hom from college. They were accompanied by their friends Rahil, Sahil and Irfan. Near Kohinoor Tower, a group of 15-20 youths including Zeeshan and Taufiq stopped them and deflated the wheels of their two-wheeler. This aggravated the situation and resulted in a violent clash between the two groups.

Police officials said they were investigating the incident.
