Jamshedpur students get basic life support training

Jamshedpur, July 12: Public Health Department of Tata Steel Foundation is gearing up to provide basic life support training to people of the city in order to save lives in emergency situations.

Sources said the department is also planning to give the training to school students. Dr Anuj Bhatnagar of the department gave a demo to mediapersons regarding the said plan at Dhatkidih Community Centre.

The students present on the occasion were told how they could save someone’s life in case that person’s heartbeat has suddenly stopped. They were given demonstratin on the life saving technique.

Dr Bhatnagar said the students would be given the training on Sunday so that they could share the same with others.
