Jamshedpur: A class IX student of Narsinghgarh Plus Two High School in Dhalbhumgarh, Ashtami Mahato, fainted due to hot weather during assembly on Saturday, sources said.
According to the school headmaster Gautam Rana, the student’s condition improved after some time. “Most of the students reach the school empty stomach as they have to get ready early in the morning. Ashtami had also not had anything since morning. She comes to school by cycling six kilometer from Satkathia village daily. Due to extreme heat conditions, she fainted during the morning prayers. Now she is alright,” he said.
