Jamshedpur student faints due to extreme heat, hospitalised

Jamshedpur, June 15: Classes for students from 9th to 12th grade commenced in Jamshedpur. However, in light of the scorching heat, classes for Kindergarten (KG) to 8th grade have been temporarily suspended until June 17th. Amidst these developments, an unfortunate incident occurred at Sakchi Gurunanak High School, where Risha Kumari, a 10th-grade student, fainted due to the extreme heat.

Prompt action was taken by the school management upon discovering Risha’s condition. Despite their efforts to revive her, her condition did not improve, leading the school to contact her family. Following consultation with her family, it was decided to admit Risha to MGM Hospital for further medical treatment. She is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Risha Kumari resides in Kashidih Bagan, line number one, in Sakchi. On Thursday morning, she arrived at school at 7:30 am, as usual, and was scheduled to leave at 11:30 am.
