Jamshedpur SSP reviews law and order at crime meeting

Jamshedpur, Nov 10: Senior Superintendent of Police, East Singhbhum, Prabhat Kumar, convened a crime meeting at the district police office on Thursday. He directed the station house officers (SHOs) of all police stations across the district to keep a close watch on the criminal activities in their respective areas and take prompt measures to prevent them. He issued a slew of instructions to the officers regarding policing and law and order and stressed on speedy disposal of cases through fast investigation and arresting of culprits including absconding offenders. He said charge-sheet should be filed in all cases as soon as possible so that the offenders may be punished. He advised all SHOs and other police officers to behave humbly with visitors to police offices. Many senior police officers were present at the meeting. The meeting began at 6.30 pm.
