Jamshedpur SSP returns missing mobile phones to their owners

Jamshedpur, Dec 24: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar Saturday returned 59 mobile phones recovered by the district police in the last few months to their owners. These phones were lost by their owners in different incidents. Earlier, the mobile phone owners had to go to police station to show court papers to get their phones back.

The SSP said the city police had a total of 88 mobile phones, but could contact only 59 owners. After returning the phones, the SSP administered road safety oath to the phone owners and appealed to them to follow traffic rules.

He said people should only buy mobile phones with proper documents and receipts.
