Jamshedpur software engineer dies of sunstroke

Jamshedpur, April 25: A 35 year-old software engineer, Arun Kumar Pathak, succumbed to sunstroke in Mango on Monday, sources said.

According to sources, Pathak, a resident of Madhusudan Plaza, Mango, fainted in the middle of the road in the afternoon on his way home from Rajendra Nagar, Dimna Road. He was taken to MGM Hospital where he was pronounced brought dead. 

Sources said the deceased was addicted to alcohol and he had gone to Rajendra Nagar to drink. While returning home, Pathak’s condition deteriorated due to the hot weather and he died on his way, they said, adding that sunstroke appeared to be the cause of death as per the doctors who examined the deceased.
